Local chinese joint across from Ohlone college. Went on a Monday night and had a lovely dinner! Its a small local spot and was pretty empty but very clean. Tasty authentic chinese dishes. My favorite was the green bean beef. It had great flavor and was super tender! The corn fish could use some more flavor but was still good and crispy. We asked if they could do a black bean chow fun (not on their menu) and they were very accomodating. It wasnt the best but we appreciated the effort. Interested to come back and try more dishes. Service was good. The waitress was fast and friendly! The only strange thing was she mentioned the first cup of water was free but refills are .50! So we only drank one cup each. No biggie, but something to note.

Good food with a small but humble ambiance and family run I believe to where they take care of you and are happy to help or answer questions! Defintely worth it. Fremont has been lacking in restaurants in cuisines sometimes so EE being close by and defintely good for a local place is fabulous.

This is very much my go-to place to stop by when I need to visit my parent's house to run errands (feed outdoor cats, water plants, pick up packages, pick up mail, etc.) whenever they go on vacations, which coincidentally happens at least once or twice a month. First off, parking is actually very easy. There's a really big parking lot behind the restaurant for the entire strip mall. Second, it's a bit hard to find, but there's a sign and look around for it. It's a very cozy building, but also very clean, very nice, well-lit, basically everything is nice. I feel like this is what eating Chinese food as a Hobbit in the Lord of Rings would be like. Anyways, Chinese cuisine is very broad umbrella - the cuisine herespecifically appears to mostly be Southern Coastal Chinese classics. The owners are fluent in Mandarin, but I've also seen them speak a different Chinese language (not sure which one - probably Hokkien, Cantonese, or Hakka?) Anyways, they do all of these dishes very well. The standouts to me are the clay pots because the food comes out piping hot and stays hot - and the noodle soups, which are absolutely massive (you get SO MANY NOODLES) and which come in the same pots as the clay pots which means it also comes out piping hot and stays hot. Honestly, I'm shocked that more restaurants don't service noodle soups in this format because it's absolutely fantastic. I think the lifeblood of the restaurant is takeaway orders - you see a lot of people stop by and pick up food. But the dine-in experience is actually fantastic as well and it's a shame more people don't do it. The pricing is also pretty good, especially by 2024 Bay Area Chinese food standards. Hugely recommended for coastal Chinese food - it's probably one of THE best places in Fremont - maybe the entire Southeast Bay - to get it.

A band was visiting us from out of town and we needed a spot to take them all out to lunch on a thursday afternoon. I called ahead and even with limited space they gave us a table for 8 and the chef graciously gave us corn egg drop soup on the house. We started with egg rolls and potstickers. We tried the sweet and sour pork, kung pao chicken, chili fish and the mongolian beef with chow mein and fried rice. Every dish was great, the sweet and sour pork was a hit! It's right in our neighborhood and will definitely be back, it's a shame I waited so long to try it

Still the GOAT for Chinese food in Fremont. Food is always piping hot and made to order. Their lunch specials are always so generous for the price. Some great dishes we've tried are the orange peel beef, honey walnut prawns, prawns with lobster sauce, and stir fried chicken with broccoli. Always so flavorful and the service is always so friendly and sweet. They're open for dine in so stop by and grab a bite (or three) :)

An update! Well we were going to go here Saturday night but they quickly warned us of the 1 hour wait to pick up food. So we were thwarted but we totally still wanted some fried rice and sweet and sour pork. Today it was happening and it almost again didn't happen as they do close at 2:30pm. Well good thing we finished our work just before 2 and got to order. We picked out the House Fried Rice which had chicken, bbq pork, shrimp and egg and the sweet and sour pork which had tomatoes, green bell peppers, and pineapples. Goodness, it hit the spot and yes, comfort food to a T. We didn't get to eat the sweet and sour pork right away which meant the crispiness went away, but it was still good. Perhaps next time we'll ask for the sauce on the side. I appreciated the tomatoes and pineapples but wished the green bell peppers were cooked well as I can't digest them well. I was burping green bell pepper all late afternoon and even through the evening. The fried rice was fine. I did appreciate that it had shrimp. We've also had the chow fun on a previous trip which was a let down as the noodles were overdone. What we do love is the Fish fillet with sweet shanxi vinegar sauce. If you like sweet and sour vinegary things as well as super crispy fish, this is it! We get this one with the sauce on the side to make sure the fish doesn't get soggy. This dish is also my mom's fav at this place. The orange peel beef is also a surprise as it's crispy as well. Get the sauce to make sure you get the most of the deep fried goodness. I guess I really like deep fried meat/fish when I want to indulge! Service is always friendly and great over the phone as we always do take out. Although the prices are a high for main dishes and not the lunch deals. I guess I don't mind since it's so close by and it's also a local business. Plus I just can't help just coming back all the time for it. I just don't look at the prices so that I don't feel guilty for spending so much on food. Try them out for sure!

Easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. Only a handful of tables for dine-in but it does quite brisk takeout business. One of my favorite spots for walnut prawns. The beef stew is also very popular, but everything I've had is good. The service is always welcoming and very friendly. 15% service charge automatically added to the check but feel free to leave more.

EE Home Cooking has reopened for indoor dining after a long period of just Take Out due to COVID. The service is terrific as was the food. I missed dining in at this quaint little establishment. I will make it this place more frequently to dine in. Highly recommended!
